Seoyeon of fromis9’s tests positive for COVID-19, rest of the members of the group test negative
On February 4th, Pledis Entertainment confirmed that fromis9 the member Lee Seoyeon has tested positive for COVID-19. All other members been tested negative, however, to protect everyone’s health fromis-9’s forthcoming shows will be temporarily postponed.

“Hello. This is Pledis Entertainment.
We’d be pleased to announce that fromis-9 Seoyeon, a member of the group, has been confirmed by COVID-19. There are changes to the fromis-9 schedule.
Seoyeon was admitted to a hospital the evening of Thursday, February 3, after suffering from fatigue and an itchy throat. She was found to be positive for COVID-19 in the test for rapid antigen. She was taken into a screening center for a PCR test and was diagnosed with COVID-19 the morning of Friday on February 4. She has no symptoms other than a sneezing the throat as well as mild dizziness. She is waits for the treatment guidelines of the health authorities.
The members of fromis_9 other than Seoyeon were negative on the antigen test that was rapid on the 3rd of February, Thursday, and have no signs. The members have been placed in self-quarantine preemptively and are waiting for further instructions and updates at the hospital, such as close contacts as well as additional tests using PCR.
In the end, fromis-9 has decided to postpone a few aspects of its fourth mini album-related activities, including KBS2’s “Music Bank scheduled for this morning, as well as the 4th Mini Album “Midnight guest” signing events for fans scheduled to be held today, as well as the dates below: Music Plant to be held on February 4; Joeun Music on Feb 5, BEATROAD on Feb 6, Shopee on Feb 10, Yi Zhi Yu on February 12. We’ll provide an update on the events resumed and the dates.
We place the greatest importance on the safety and health of our performers and will do all we can to help Seoyeon recover so that she can be able to meet her fans in good health and well. We will also adhere to the requirements and guidelines issued by health authorities.
