BTS’s Jimin released from hospital and quarantine following recovery from appendicitis surgery as well as COVID-19
In the day of the 5th February Big Hit Music updated fans on BTS Jimin‘s status on an Weverse post.Prior to that, Jimin tested positive for COVID-19 on January 30th about a day prior to when being admitted at the hospital to undergo an operation for acute appendicitis on the 31st of January.

“Hello I’m here to represent Big Hit Music.
We’d like to let you know the public that BTS member Jimin was released from hospital. He was removed from quarantine on February 5 after his surgery for acute appendicitis as well as treatment of COVID-19.
Jimin He was tested positive for COVID-19 Monday, December 30, and who was confirmed to have acute appendicitis Monday January 31, was in the absence of COVID-19 right before his release from the hospital PCR test.
While receiving treatment and recovering at an inpatient hospital Jimin did not exhibit any particular signs. Jimin experienced minor signs of a sore throat in the initial stages of his hospitalization however, he was able to recover from those symptoms swiftly, and doctors confirmed that the region which he underwent surgery is recovering swiftly and in a normal way. At present, Jimin is resting and recuperating following his discharge.
